The driving force behind 2U Tyres is Shaun Clark. Shaun started out in the motor trade in 1986 at ATS, where he gained the experience needed at all levels to run a successful business. Starting out as a young apprentice right out of school, he learnt all there was to know about the motor trade and tyre industry.
Shaun spent the next 20 years working his way up the ladder to branch manager, where he also learnt the customer care skills that are at the core of 2U Tyres now.
Around 2006 Shaun left ATS and formed 2U Tyres in Petersfield. Starting out working from a van, his mobile tyre fitting business flourished. This mobile tyre fitting service is still an important part of 2U Tyres business, with many clients who depend on it to keep their own businesses running on time.
As business grew Shaun felt the need to offer a more complete service to his customers, so he moved into the old Collins & White workshop in Holders Yard. Which has since been developed into houses and offices.
Shaun then moved 2U tyres to its current location at the old bus garage on Station Road in Petersfield. Although in much bigger premises, Shaun still wanted to run a garage that would be a local garage for his customers. Offering competitive prices, excellent customer service and quality products to his clients, demand grew.
In 2010 2U Tyres joined the Good Garage Scheme, and follows the schemes philosophy of “ Servicing Up To A Standard, Not Down To A Price ”. 2U Tyres offers customers good value vehicle servicing, quality vehicle repairs, and excellent customer service.
Then in 2015, 2U Tyres expanded its business into a modern double unit on the Parkers Industrial Estate on Bedford Road. This gave Shaun the facilities he needed to expand the business from tyres and MOTs, to becoming a fully fledged service garage. A local garage for all motor vehicle repairs in Petersfield.
